Nerd Noise Radio - Channel F - John’s Picks from FaceOff Friday - vol. 1 (Nerd Noise Radio - Channel 1 - C1E18 - Nov. 2017)

EDIT: Sorry I was a bit late on getting the blog post up for this! As of this writing, there is still an opportunity to get in on the contest. Just e-mail me at nerdnoiseradio@gmail.com and 3rd person to e-mail is in. As of 7:32 pm Central Standard Time, Dec 30th, 2017, there have been two e-mails. So next one to e-mail wins. Get in on it! :-)

Cheers!

This is John’s picks from Nerd Noise Radio - Channel 1’s C1E18: Face-Off Friday - vol. 1 (Nov. 2017).

I’ve hidden the version details in this track list so as not to “blow the punchline”. However, track list provided at the end of the episode does list the version info. Also, in the case of the YouTube video version, there’s a pop-up for each track, and those provide version info as well. Also, I had one tie, where both (or all) of the versions included in the original episode are still included here.

Though not stated explicitly in this track list, the very astute observer will likely be able to glean where that tie is. Please don’t blow it for everyone. ;-)

Stay tuned to Nerd Noise Radio - Channel F. Content will come out as it’s available, rather than on a regular, or semi-regular schedule as is the case with Channel 1. In some cases, this will mean a bunch of content coming out rapid-fire. In other cases, there may be months in-between new content. Please do not unsubscribe during those drought periods.

Also, a reminder: there is a contest! Third person to e-mail me at nerdnoiseradio@gmail.com will get to curate their own list of picks from Face-Off Friday - vol. 1, and I will produce and release it on Channel F in late January.

Lastly, since this was produced on 12/28/17, it is the one-year anniversary of the passing of my dear friend, Chris Chandler, and thus, this production is dedicated to his memory. To hear a fuller tribute to him, see Nerd Noise Radio - Channel 1 - C1E10: “Mishmash Monday - vol. 1”.

Until next time! Fly the N!!!

Cheers!

Nerd Noise Radio - Channel F introduction / Christmas 1992 Memoir

Tales of the glories of Christmases long long ago.......and tales of the glories of an all-new Channel from the Nerd Noise Radio Network - plus a certain special "re-run" embedded at the end!

Merry Christmas (etc), Noisers!!!

p.s. First Appearance of the new Nerd Noise Radio logo and background design scheme for 2018. I hope you like it! It's purposely lo-fi, but hope that comes off in the good way, rather than the bad way. Also, as a fledgling (and I mean SUUUUUUPER fledgling) student of Japanese, I just couldn't resist. ;-)

If you wish to subscribe to the Nerd Noise Radio - Channel 1 Music block podcast, there are two options:

Option 1: Subscribe to the "Nerd Noise Radio Network - All Channels" podcast feed. Feed will include Channels 1, 2, 3, and any future channels not yet planned. Feed will also include podcasts in high quality, stereo where applicable, and episodes will never expire off the feed. Here's the RSS:

Option 2: If you're ONLY interested in Channel 1 episodes, and not in any of the other channels, there is a Channel 1-specific feed. But it's hosted on a free account, rather than an upgraded account like the "All Channels Feed" with lower quality sound (mono, I believe), a maximum 2hrs per month of content (so if the month's episodes run longer than that, they may need to be trimmed), and episodes expire off the feed forever after 90 days. If this is what you want instead, here's the RSS:

Our episodes will also appear on our Nerd Noise Radio YouTube Channel - just search for Nerd Noise Radio, you'll find us! Here's today's episode:
